New Delhi. After the improvement of the deteriorating conditions due to Corona infection, now Indian Railways is constantly revising the numbers of special trains operating at the zonal railway level. In this direction, North Western Railway has announced to modify the numbers of 83 special trains and convert them as numbers of normal trains. This will now make a big difference on the pockets of the passengers traveling in these trains.
According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, special train services by the railway administration(Special Trains)is being operated as a normal train service. All these 83 trains have been operated with Parivartan number from 15th November.
NWR has already declared 32 pairs of Holiday Special trains as normal
Railways is now taking action to normalize all those trains at the zonal level in a phased manner.
In this direction, the fare of 32 pairs of Holiday Special trains operated on North Western Railway has been converted into normal Mail/Express fare. That is, now passengers will not have to pay more fare in all these trains. In these 82 trains, some trains are also included which have been announced with normal number declaring 32 pairs of holiday special trains.
