Indian Railways: Railways started special trains on many routes, will get seats easily, check details

Northern Railway has decided to restore 2 pairs of trains. This train is to be run on Lucknow, Jhansi and Meerut city route.


New Delhi: Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, Indian Railways has increased the number of trains running on some routes. This will make it easier for passengers to get tickets. Northern Railway has given information about this by tweeting. Northern Railway has decided to restore 2 pairs of trains. This train is to be run on Lucknow, Jhansi and Meerut city route. After the relaxation of restrictions by the states after the second wave of Kovid-19 (COVID-19), the Railways has increased the number of trains.

Railway operated the train Lucknow Jn. to Meerut Jn and Jhansi to Lucknow Jn. done in between. The passengers traveling in these trains will have to follow the protocol. Apart from this, it is also necessary to take full care of social distance and sanitization.

Northern Railway has written in a tweet that the following special trains will be run by the railways as per the schedule given below for convenient movement of railway passengers –
>> 01817/01818 Lucknow Jn.-Meerut City Jn. Lucknow Jn.
>> 01823 Jhansi-Lucknow Jn. one way reserved special train

01817/01818 Lucknow-Meerut City-Lucknow
Train Number 01817/01818 Lucknow-Meerut City-Lucknow is Fully Reserved Superfast Express Special train. This train will run every day.

01817 will run from Lucknow from 18 August 2021 till further orders and 01818 will run from Meerut City from 19.08.2021 till further orders every day. At the same time, 01817 will leave Lucknow at 14.25 hrs and reach Meerut City at 22.30 hrs. At the same time, 01818 will leave Meerut City at 06.40 hrs and reach Lucknow at 15.05 hrs.

This train will stop at Balamau, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Amroha and Hapur stations. This train will have 3 tier air conditioned, air conditioned chair car, chair car, second class (reserve) coaches.


01823 Jhansi-Lucknow one-way reserved special train,
let us tell you that train number 01823 will be run from August 17. This is a one-way reserved special train. This train will leave Jhansi at 21.20 hrs and reach Unnao at 02.36 hrs and Lucknow at 04.20 hrs.
