During this, some provisions related to reservation of tickets in trains were changed. After controlling the speed of corona infection, Indian Railways has also made services almost normal. Along with this, some changes have been made afresh in the provisions related to ticket reservation. However, this provision will not apply to all trains. There is news of relief for the travelers of Bihar and Jharkhand. Now the obligation of giving full address while booking tickets in some trains of these two states has been done away with.
Explain that limited operation of trains was started during the Corona period. During this, it was made mandatory to make reservation for the general bogie of trains. Along with this, it was made mandatory to enter the complete address along with the post office and pin code of the origin and destination in the ticket reservation form. This arrangement was made for all trains. Now some relief has been given in this rule. While reserving tickets in some trains of Bihar and Jharkhand, now full address will not have to be given. This relief is not for all trains.
New rules apply from today
To travel by train, it is important to remember the district, post office and pin code. You cannot book tickets without remembering these. From the reservation counter of the railways to online ticket booking, this information is also mandatory, but from December 20, in some trains going from Jharkhand to Bihar, the requirement of post office, district or pin code will now end.
Railways has given permission to travel on general tickets in 9 trains of Jharkhand-Bihar from December 20. This means that now reservation will not have to be made to travel by normal coach. Indian Railways has given another relief that now tickets will be available from the counter till 5 minutes in advance.
