Know here what is the rule for cancellation
If the train is canceled due to a flood-like situation, then the passenger gets a full refund of the ticket. Provided that for this you have to cancel your ticket within three days of the journey. At the same time, 25 percent charge is levied on cancellation of confirmed tickets before 12 hours and 50 percent for cancellation of tickets up to 12 to 4 hours before the train leaves the station.
Confirmed tickets can be canceled up to 48 hours before the departure of the train. In this, you have to pay a cancellation charge of Rs 240 for AC First Class, Rs 200 for AC Two Tier, Rs 120 for Sleeper Class, Rs 60 for Two Seater, Rs 180 for AC Three Tier and AC Chair Car.
If you cancel the waiting or sleeper class ticket of RAC up to 30 minutes before the departure of the train, then Rs 60 is deducted as cancellation charge on your ticket.
