Curtains Service Resumes In Trains: Curtains and linen facilities were banned in trains after the cases of corona virus increased in India, which has been resumed in some trains.
New Delhi: In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Railways has now withdrawn the decision to remove linen and curtain services from trains. In this episode, Northern Railway has so far restored curtain services in 92 trains and linen services in 26 trains. This facility was banned after the cases of corona virus increased.

In order to restart the washing laundry and linen delivery services which have been closed for a long time, Northern Railway has devoted all the resources for the restoration of linen, bedroll, curtain washing laundry and linen delivery services keeping in view the available resources and time. Huh.
Linen and bedroll items will be purchased
In addition, the Stores Department has been advised to initiate the process of procuring the estimated quantity of linen and bedroll items. It is being restored in a phased manner with the bedroll stock available at present. It is being offered with available bedroll stock.
Service will start soon in other trains too
Restoration of curtain and linen services has also been planned in the remaining trains. Apart from this, linen services will be restored in the rest of the trains after the supply from the vendors.
Along with this, updates of the trains in which bedroll facility is being restored are being given to the passengers through SMS, social media. The availability of bedrolls in trains is also being informed by the railway administration through SMS.
