Railways Reservation Ticket System : There will be no need to go to the booking counter of the railway station to take the train reservation ticket or general ticket. Tickets will be available near the house or even in the market. For this, railways is going to open Passenger Facilitation Center again starting the thirty year old system.

Railway administration has started the facility of e-ticket to take reservation tickets sitting at home. For taking e-reservation tickets, passengers have to pay Rs.30 extra plus GST in addition to the train fare. On taking a single ticket, passengers have to spend up to Rs 50 extra. If the waiting ticket is not confirmed, the ticket is automatically canceled and Rs.30 will be deducted on the sleeper class ticket.

That is, without traveling, the passengers have to spend 80 rupees. Therefore, the passenger prefers to take the ticket from the booking counter of the railway station. Because, there is no GST and extra charges to be paid on taking tickets from there. Passengers can travel in the train on waiting tickets. Whereas those with e-tickets cannot travel. Railways had already arranged Jansadharan Booking Ticket Sevak (JTBS) counters for the sale of general tickets.

Railway ticket counters will be opened inside the city by re-implementing the thirty-year-old system of private individuals to operate. In the first phase, reservation ticket will be available here like a station. Two rupees extra will have to be paid for taking general ticket. In the second phase, the facility of booking parcels will also be available here. This facility is to be started in all the cities. At present this facility is given to the person operating JTBS for more than two years.

On making a reservation ticket, a commission of thirty rupees will be given by the railways. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Sudhir Singh said that passenger facilitation centers are to be opened, applications are being sought for this. A person fulfilling the conditions will be given a license to open the center.
