Indian Railways Update: 12 express trains including Saptkranti will run on diverted routes till Wednesday. Barauni-Bandra Terminus Avadh Express (No. 19038) will run via Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sikta- Narkatiaganj. Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Saptkranti (No. 12557) will run via Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sugauli-Narkatiyaganj route.
Indian Railways Update: In Bihar, the operation of five passenger trains has been canceled for three days from Monday to Wednesday (27 to 29 January) between Muzaffarpur to Narkatiaganj and Raxaul. These include train number 63342 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur Passenger, 63309 Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj Passenger, 63314 Muzaffarpur-Raxaul Passenger, 63341 Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj Passenger and 63338 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur Passenger. On Monday, only one pair of express trains (15215 and 15216) ran between Narkatiaganj and Muzaffarpur.
Actually, pre-NI/NI work is going on from 22 to 29 January for track doubling between Kaparpura-Kanti-Piparaha. Under this, 10 passenger trains running between Muzaffarpur to Narkatiaganj and Raxaul will remain cancelled till 29 January. Apart from the above eight trains, Muzaffarpur-Narkatiyaganj Intercity (15215 and 15216) is also included in this. Apart from this, three passenger trains running between Muzaffarpur-Raxaul have been cancelled since 22 January.

12 express trains including Saptkranti will run on changed routes till Wednesday. Barauni-Bandra Terminus Avadh Express (No. 19038) will run via Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sikta-Narkatiyaganj. Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Saptkranti (No. 12557) will go via Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sugauli-Narkatiyaganj route. Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur Saptkranti Express (No. 12558) will operate via Narkatiaganj-Sugauli-Raxaul-Sitamarhi. Katihar-Delhi Champaran Humsafar Express (No. 15705) will operate via Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sikta-Narkatiyaganj. Muzaffarpur-Dehradun Express (No. 15001) and Muzaffarpur-Porbandar Express 19270 went via Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul-Sikta-Narkatiyaganj. Bandra Terminus-Muzaffarpur Avadh Express (No. 19037) ran via Narkatiaganj-Sikta-Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur. On Tuesday, Delhi-Katihar Champaran Humsafar Express (No. 15706) will run via Narkatiaganj-Sikta-Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur and Howrah-Raxaul Mithila Express (No. 13021) will run via Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul.
Trial engine ran on Kaparpura-Pipraha line
PCEE Rajendra Kumar Chaudhary of East Central Railway inspected the Kaparpura-Kanti-Pipraha new railway line on Monday. During this, the electric engine was tested in the 10 km distance between Kaparpura and Pipraha. The trial went on from 3 pm to 4:30 pm. In fact, NI work is to be done till January 29 for the Kaparpura-Kanti-Piprahan doubling work. CRS inspection is also to be done regarding this.
Four trains will depart from other stations on Tuesday and Wednesday
Four express trains will be partially terminated/originated and will start or end from other stations. On Tuesday, 15201 Patliputra-Bagaha Intercity and 15555 Patliputra-Bapudham Motihari Express will be partially terminated at Muzaffarpur. On Wednesday, both trains will leave from Muzaffarpur for Patliputra. Whereas, 15556 Bapudham Motihari-Patliputra will leave from Muzaffarpur for Patliputra.
