Delhi Airport Congestion: In view of the heavy rush of passengers and long queues at Delhi Airport, airlines have advised their customers to arrive at the airport earlier. First IndiGo asked its domestic passengers to arrive 3.5 hours before the takeoff of the flight. After this, Air India has also issued new guidelines for its customers, in which they have been asked to arrive 3.5 hours before takeoff if traveling from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA). Along with this, airlines have appealed to their customers to bring only one cabin bag with them, so that they do not have to wait at the baggage counter. In such a situation, passengers traveling from Delhi airport in the recent past should know these guidelines of Air India.
Passengers reached the airport before time
Air India tweeted that domestic passengers have been asked to reach Delhi airport 3.5 hours before the takeoff of the flight. On the other hand, if you have to go abroad, then you should reach the airport 4 hours before. Air India said that this advice is being given in view of the large number of passengers at Delhi airport.
Carry only one cabin bag
Air India has asked people to bring minimum luggage with them along with reaching the airport ahead of time. Air India tweeted to the passengers and said that bring only 1 cabin bag with you, so that you can easily get out of the security check and you do not have to wait much.
Indigo has also issued such guidelines
Let us tell you that before this, Indigo has also tweeted and asked the passengers to reach Delhi Airport 3.5 hours before the time to catch their flight. IndiGo told that the crowd of people at Delhi airport is high and the process of making check and boarding pass is taking more time.

Pre-Prepare Web Checkin
Apart from this, the airline company IndiGo also said that if possible, the passengers should get the web check-in done in advance. Whereas, use gate number 5 and 6 of Delhi Airport T3. Both these gates are closest to the Indigo check-in counters.
