Indigo Getaway Sale: India’s budget airline Indigo has come up with a great offer on domestic and international flights. The airline has started a getaway sale, through which passengers can book tickets at a lower price. This offer is for a limited time. The special thing is that along with the ticket, discount is also available on luggage. This offer is available for booking from 9 to 13 January 2025. This offer is available on the airline’s website, mobile app and other platforms between 9 to 12 January 2025.
Air travel for Rs 1,199
Passengers can book tickets for travel after 15 days from the date of booking. Under the Gateway Sale, ticket booking starts from Rs 1,199. Whereas, ticket booking for international flights starts from Rs 4,499. That means you can travel domestically for just Rs 1,199 and abroad for Rs 4,499.

So much discount is available on luggage
For select routes and travel periods, pre-paid extra luggage (15 kg, 20 kg and 30 kg) is getting a discount of up to 15 per cent. This discount is available on both domestic and international routes. Apart from this, the airline is also offering a standard discount of up to 15 per cent on preferred seat selection. This is also available on both domestic and international routes.
Emergency XL seats will be available for Rs 599 for domestic flights and Rs 699 for international flights. Up to 50 per cent discount will be available on Fast Forward Service, which allows passengers to avoid long queues.

As of January 2025, Indigo operates flights to 123 destinations. This includes 89 domestic and 34 international destinations. Some of IndiGo’s international destinations include Bangkok, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Singapore and Sharjah.
Air India Express’s Student Discount
Air India Express, known for its budget-friendly flights, offers special discounts for students aged 12 and above. Under this scheme, students can enjoy up to 6% off on base fares and 25 kg baggage allowance, including 10 kg extra check-in baggage. The offer is valid on one-way, round-trip, and multi-city domestic bookings. However, web check-in is not allowed for student fare tickets.
To use this offer, students must show a valid school or university ID card with their name and date of birth at the airport check-in counter. If the ID is not provided, they will need to pay the regular fare. This scheme helps students travel affordably and comfortably.
Akasa Air’s 2025 Travel Sale
Akasa Air is offering up to 25% off on basic fares for domestic flight bookings made between January 7 and January 10, 2025. The offer is valid for “Saver” and “Flexi” fares on bookings made at least 7 days before travel, with travel starting from January 15, 2025. To avail of the discount, use the promo code FESTIVE while booking through the Akasa Air website or mobile app.
The discount is not valid during blackout periods, including March 13-14, March 16, October 25-31, and November 1-3, 2025. The offer applies only to adults and children and excludes special fare categories like students, armed forces, and senior citizens.
