Infosys Work From Home: Last year, Infosys took a bold step by asking select junior and mid-level employees to return to the office for 10 days a month. This move diverged from the prevailing trend of enforcing five-day work weeks.
Infosys has adopted a hybrid work model, acknowledging the ongoing push and pull of remote and office work. Through its employee experience platform, InfyMe, Infosys allows employees from specific business units to apply for work-from-home (WFH) days for up to 11 days per month, as reported by TOI.
The platform message states, “We are now in a hybrid work model. You can avail the below-mentioned WFH days per month and work from the office on the remaining weekdays. Additional WFH requests will be considered exceptions and subject to your manager’s approval.
A Shift from Traditional Norms

The company’s top management emphasized that returning to the office would not be mandatory, but a roster system would ensure adequate seating capacity for those working from the office.

A hybrid working paradigm has also been adopted by other Indian IT organizations. For example, Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have promoted working from the office. According to Economic Times report, Recently TCS has leased a mammoth 4 lac square feet of office space in Noida, making it one of the largest office space deals in the Delhi-NCR region.
