The HR department of the company has said in an e-mail to the employees that there is also a risk of breach of confidentiality.

New Delhi. IT companies are now getting strict on Moonlight Cheating of employees. Infosys has bluntly told its employees that if they do not stop moonlighting, they may lose their jobs.

According to Moneycontrol, Infosys Chairman Rishad Premji had called Moonlighting a fraud and advised employees to avoid it. He had expressed concern that moonlighting was affecting the quality of the company. Now in the e-mail sent to the employees, the HR department of the company has said in strict words to close two jobs simultaneously. According to this, any other work done on or after the working hours fixed by the company will be considered as a second job.

The company clearly said, dual job will not be accepted in terms of Employee Handbook or Code of Conduct. It has also been said in the offer letter given to the employees that the employees will not be able to do any other part time or full time job without the permission of the company. If these rules are broken then the employee may have to lose his job.

The company was also told a security threat

It has been said in the e-mail that during the Corona period, due to work from home and remote working, more cases of moonlighting have come to the fore. Especially for IT employees, who work elsewhere without informing their first employer. With this affecting our productivity, business and job performance, there is also a risk of data leaks.
