Companies should take care of people’s savings
IRDA stated in its circular that to provide affordable health insurance to the people, companies should design a policy that benefits them and can easily take care of people’s health. Insurance companies should think about saving people and design new health policy. Under this, these companies can give a discount coupon to the insured people for purchasing health supplements, membership of a yoga center, gym, sports club or fitness center. Also, a cash reward point can also be offered.
Give information at the time of applying
According to the new guidelines of IRDA, these features can also be offered as an addon option in any policy. However, the regulator has made it clear that it cannot be launched by incorporating into any insurance product or adding it as a benefit. IRDA has instructed companies to give information about these features and information about the expenses on it only when applying for insurance. Follow
