A decision will be taken on the next date according to the situation.

Earlier, the Ministry of Civil Aviation had said that the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Health-Family Welfare had been consulted regarding the resumption of commercial international passenger services from December 15. After this it was decided that commercial international passenger services to and from India can be resumed from 15 December 2021. The Ministry of Home Affairs will prepare three lists of countries. International flights will be operated on this basis. However, after this Omicron changed the situation.

Hong Kong and Israel were also added to the countries at risk
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has also added Hong Kong and Israel to the list of countries from where travelers will have to comply with additional parameters, including post-arrival testing. These include European countries including Britain, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Singapore, Hong Kong and Israel.
