vacancy details - The organization has released 47 vacancies of Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) at Gujarat facility and 7 vacancies at Haldia facility. There are 7 vacancies for Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U) in Gujarat and 4 vacancies for Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U-O&M) in Haldia.
This is how the selection will be done
IOCL will shortlist the candidates on the basis of their performance in the written test and skill test. However, the skill test will be of qualifying nature and the marks obtained in it will not be added for preparing the merit list.
The written test will test the subject knowledge, numerical ability and general awareness of the candidates. Subject knowledge section will be of 75 marks, Numerical Ability will be of 15 marks and General Awareness will be of 10 marks.
Those who obtain at least 40% marks in the written test will be shortlisted for the skill test. However, SC and ST candidates will get some relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks.
