iPhone 16 Sale in india: Premium mobile manufacturer Apple has started the sale of its iPhone 16 series in India from today i.e. Friday (September 20). A large number of people were seen outside the company’s flagship stores in Mumbai’s BKC and Delhi Saket to buy the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro series. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and one TB storage capacities. These will have the largest display size ever in the iPhone series at 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches.

Hundreds of eager customers gathered outside Apple Saket in Delhi and Apple BKC in Mumbai hours before the stores opened to be among the first to buy the new iPhone models. The excitement around the launch of the iPhone 16 series has attracted massive crowds.

Pre-bookings began on September 13 and deliveries for those who pre-ordered are also scheduled to begin on the same day. This is the first time the company is selling the iPhone Pro series at a lower price than last year, primarily due to the import duty cut in the recent Budget.

There is no difference in the prices of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus assembled in India. “The iPhone 16 starts at Rs 79,900 and the iPhone 16 Plus starts at Rs 89,900,” Apple had said.

The company said in a statement that the starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro is Rs 1,19,900 and the starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is Rs 1,44,900. About a year ago, the iPhone 15 Pro was introduced at a starting price of Rs 1,34,900 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max at Rs 1,59,900.

The iPhone 16 series is available for purchase through various online and offline platforms. Customers can also buy through the official Apple Store website, Apple’s stores, authorised Apple retailers, and multi-brand electronics outlets such as Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital, and more.

Bank offers and cashback

Customers buying the iPhone 16 can avail instant savings of up to Rs 5,000 with eligible cards from American Express, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank. Additionally, buyers can opt for no-cost EMI options for 3 to 6 months through most major banks.

Apple trade-in program

Apple is offering a trade-in program where buyers can get discounts ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 67,500 on exchanging their old device. This discount can be applied directly to the purchase of the new iPhone 16. The entire process can be completed online.

Other offers

Customers buying the iPhone 16 will also get three months of Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade for free. This provides a comprehensive entertainment package with your new device.
