iPhone users alert! This is important information for users using Apple products. Actually, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), an agency working under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has issued an important alert.

CERT-In researchers have spotted several security-related vulnerabilities inside Apple devices. Using these, cyber scammers can break into your device. After this, they can steal data or take full control of the handset.

Update the device in view of security

Giving information from CERT-In, it has been told that users should update their device immediately. These flaws have been found in the old OS. CERT-In said that it has detected some security related vulnerabilities, which can be used by cyber scammers to cheat you.

Dangerous vulnerabilities spotted in OS

The advisory issued by CERT-In said that these vulnerabilities can put any device at risk, whether it is an individual or an organization’s devices. Users who use iOS, MacOS, Safari and other older Apple platforms are at risk of cyber attackers.

These Apple software can be affected due to this vulnerability.

  • iOS: Versions older than 18.4, 17.7.6, 16.7.11 and 15.8.4.
  • iPadOS: Versions older than 18.4, 17.7.6, 16.7.11 and 15.8.4
  • macOS: Versions older than Sequoia 15.4, Sonoma 14.7.5, and Ventura 13.7.5
  • tvOS: Versions older than 18.4
  • visionOS: Versions older than 2.4
  • Safari browser: Versions older than 18.4
  • Xcode: 16.3 or older
