Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that such arrangements are necessary for women traveling long distances.

The journey of such women will be easy and they will not have to face any kind of trouble. Let us inform that six berths in the third AC coach of fully air-conditioned express trains including Garib Rath, Rajdhani, Duronto have been reserved for women passengers.
Along with women passengers, the safety of other passengers will also be ensured.
