IRCTC Latest Update: Indian Railways has canceled many trains. These include trains like Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Double Decker, Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Special, Visakhapatnam-Chennai Super-Fast, Sambalpur-Erode Special and Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cantonment Special.
IRCTC Latest Update: Indian Railways has given a big update for those traveling by trains. Those railway passengers who are planning to travel by train in the next month i.e. October, should wait for a while. Indian Railways has canceled at least 12 express trains due to interlocking in connection with the commissioning of the third line at Bapatla station in Vijayawada division in South Central Railway.
The express trains that have been canceled include trains like Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Double Decker, Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Special, Visakhapatnam-Chennai Super-Fast, Sambalpur-Erode Special and Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cantonment Special.
Apart from this, Indian Railways said that Dhanbad-Alleppey Bokaro Express leaving from Dhanbad on October 2 and October 10 will be run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada and Vijayawada. There will be no stoppage in Tadepalligudem and Eluru now.
List of trains canceled till October 1
Due to the operationalization of the third line at Bapatla station of South Central Railway, many express trains have also been canceled till October 1.
- Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Double Decker
- Bhubaneswar-Tirupati AC Super-Fast Special Express
- Visakhapatnam-MGR Chennai Central Super-Fast Express
Apart from this, Sambalpur-Erode Special Express and Visakhapatnam Bengaluru Cantt Express have also been cancelled. Apart from this, Indian Railways has also canceled special express trains. Railways said that Dhanbad-Alleppey Bokaro Express will be run via other stations.
The route of these trains was changed
Indian Railways said that several train services have been canceled or diverted due to operational reasons and maintenance work in various railway divisions. South Central Railway said that it has canceled Tirupati-SSS Hubli Daily Passenger Special and SSS Hubli-Tirupati Daily Passenger Special.
Southern Railway further said that it has canceled suburban trains between Chennai Beach and Tambaram. Apart from this, North Western Railways has also canceled four trains and diverted rail traffic due to heavy rains in Jaipur region. Flights have also been affected.
