To cancel the railway ticket offline, first you have to go to the official website of IRCTC. You will get the More option on the IRCTC website. Now you have to click on the More option, as soon as you click on this option, the option of counter ticket cancellation will appear. Here you enter the PNR, train number and security captcha code and click on submit. Now enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click on submit.
How will you get the ticket refund amount?
You can cancel the ticket online through the railway counter. But to get the refund, you will have to go to the nearest railway ticket counter. After going to the ticket counter, you will have to show the screen shot of the canceled ticket, after that you will get the ticket money refunded. To get the refund, you will have to go to the railway counter at least four hours before the scheduled time of the train. IRCTC account is not required to cancel a train ticket purchased from the railway counter.
