This Executive Lounge at New Delhi Railway Station is built on the first floor of Platform No. 1 towards Paharganj. This is the second Executive Lounge, which has been launched by the company. The lounge has been designed on the lines of world class airport lounges with good space and calm ambiance. A new capsule elevator has been installed at Platform No. 1 to facilitate the entry of passengers into the Executive Lounge.
New Delhi: Now at the New Delhi Railway Station, railway passengers will get the facility of comfortable Executive Lounge along with luxury facility on the airport side. IRCTC ( IRCTC ) has opened a new world-class executive lounge at the station to take a better comfortable journey to the passengers. Rail Passengers will get Music, Wi-Fi Internet Connection, TV, Train Information Display, Hot & Cold Drinks, Veg-Non Veg Dishes, Buffet, Wash, Bath and Toilet facility with change facilities in this lounge. .

In this executive lounge, visitors will find complimentary and paid services such as music, Wi-Fi internet connection, TV, train information display, hot and cold drinks, multi-cuisine buffet, recliners, spacious luggage racks. It also has toilets with wash and change facilities, show shiners on display, newspapers and magazines and facilities like computer, printer, photostat and fax. Passengers can drink tea, coffee by sitting in AC here. Apart from train information display and announcement here, you can enjoy free Wi-Fi provided by IRCTC.
The entry fee has been fixed at Rs 150 for one hour and Rs 99 for each additional hour in the executive lounges designated for passengers. The lounge will be operational 24×7 and that entry fee will include comfortable seating, Wi-Fi internet facility, sale of books and magazines, tea, coffee, beverages, several services in a fully air-conditioned complex with channels. Travelers will also be able to take music and live TV channels here.
To make the passengers feel at home before and after the journey, arrangements have been made for hygienic toilets, where passengers can take bath etc. This facility will be made available for women and men separately at normal charges. Travelers will get here with high quality toiletries including washable towels, soap, shampoo, shower cap and toothpaste kit for Rs.200.
Along with this, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will also be available in the form of a special buffet. 250 to 385 rupees per person according to the time of day. Other paid services of IRCTC include access to facilities like business centers and massage chairs.
IRCTC is providing all inclusive package availability for the passengers at very economical charges for executive lounge access. Rs.600+ with tax, which includes 2 hours stay, bath and a balanced buffet meal. IRCTC also plans to set up a travel desk and a gift shop in the executive lounge for passengers.
Let us inform that earlier the Executive Lounge at the station is already running on the ground and mezzanine floor on platform number 16 since 2016. IRCTC is already operating executive lounges at railway stations in Agra, Jaipur, Sealdah, Ahmedabad and Madurai.
