What is the whole matter
That a railway passenger tweeted on Twitter about the ticket refund to the railways. He complained about not getting the money. After his tweet, the Railways said in the reply that you share your PNR number and mobile number with us through direct message.
The customer shared his details with the railway through the message. After that the railway replied that your complaint has been registered. You can track your complaint by visiting the link given below. The complaint number has been sent to your mobile number by SMS.
After this the customer tweeted and shared a number saying that we have received a fraud call from this number (+919348250526) and he was asking for my UPI PIN.
Beware of Fraud Calls
In response to this, the rail service said that all users are requested to beware of such fraud calls. Do not answer any suspicious links or phone calls. You can be cheated of money. Many twitter followers are being targeted by thugs. Users complaining from railways are being targeted.
Such people call from different numbers and send some links and are cheating. The refund process of money is completely automatic. No human has any role in IRCTC refund. Meaning all this is done automatically by the system. Please do not respond to such links or calls.
