IRCTC has launched a special package for Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan and touring Jammu. The entire package will be of four days and three nights.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a monsoon offer for the devotees who are planning to visit Mata Vaishno Devi, which is very economical. After hearing about the package, you may also prepare for the darshan. Only Rs 1700 per day includes travel by AC, stay in five star and breakfast and food. The journey will start from 25th August. The journey from Delhi to Jammu will be by Rajdhani and the return will also be by Rajdhani. That is, you only have to take the IRCTC package, after that you do not have to worry about anything from travel to stay and local transport.
The journey will be in third AC but the fare for staying in Katra will definitely be different. If you pay Rs 6795, then three people will be able to stay in one room. In this way, this will be the cheapest package, in which you will have to pay about Rs 1700 per day. At the same time, if you want two people to stay in the room, then you will have to pay Rs 7855. If you do not want anyone to share the room with you, then you will have to pay Rs 10395 and you will be able to stay in the room alone. If you have a child of five to 11 years of age with you and you want a bed for him, then the total cost will be Rs 6160 and if you do not want a bed, then you will have to pay Rs 5145 extra.
The entire journey will be like this
The train will depart from New Delhi on 25th August at 8.40 pm and will reach Jammu at 5 am the next day. Vehicles will be waiting for you here, you will reach Katra by them. From here you will take the travel slip at Saraswati Bhawan. Then you will check in at the hotel (Taj Vivanta or equivalent). After breakfast, IRCTC will drop you at Banganga by vehicles. From here you will climb the mountain by horse or on foot, whichever you prefer, and will return to the store hotel by night. You will have dinner here and rest at night.
Jammu tour also
You will check out from here at 12 noon the next day. You will reach Jammu by bus. You will see the site scenes including Kand Kandoli, Raghurajji Temple and Bag Bahu Garden in Jammu. Buses will drop you at Jammu station in the evening. From here you will catch the Rajdhani at 9.45 pm and return to Delhi at 5.55 am on the fourth day.
