Unique Identification Authority of India, e-Aadhaar: Often people have many questions about e-Aadhaar, one of which is that some agencies do not accept e-Aadhaar whether it is appropriate to do so or not.
Unique Identification Authority of India, e-Aadhaar: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) gives citizens the facility of e-Aadhaar. That is, citizens get the facility to download soft copy of Aadhaar card. E-Aadhaar can be used by Aadhar card holders even if there is no hard copy of Aadhaar card. E-Aadhaar is an electronic copy of password-protected Aadhaar.
Often people have many types of questions about e-Aadhaar, one of which is that some agencies do not accept e-Aadhaar, whether it is appropriate to do so or not. According to the rules, the e-Aadhaar downloaded from the website of the Unique Identification Authority of India is as valid as the original Aadhaar. According to the Aadhaar Act, e-Aadhaar is valid for all the functions like a physical copy. If anyone refuses to take it, you can complain to the concerned senior officer or department.
In order to deal with these situations and to explain to the public, UIDAI says that in such a situation, the cardholders can show the official circular in the Aadhaar app to the concerned party. This circular mentions that the validity of e-Aadhaar is similar to that of Aadhaar Card.
Please tell that UIDAI also has digital signature on e-Aadhaar. Many cardholders use e-Aadhaar. It can be downloaded from https://uidai.gov.in/. To download e-Aadhaar, you need your enrollment number or Aadhaar number. This password is protected in terms of security and a special type of code is also required to open it.
