The problem facing non vegeterian due to birdflu is whether they ate chicken and egg or not? In the past, the fear of bird flu in the capital of the country was seen to decrease slightly. In fact, after the sample of bird flu came negative in the poultry farm, the Delhi government ordered the opening of the cock market. But bird flu cases have increased in poultry in the neighboring province of Haryana. According to the central government report, samples of 4 poultry forms have been found positive in Haryana. For this reason people are avoiding egg and chicken.

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has clarified the situation by issuing guidelines in this regard. The authority says that the bird flu virus dies in 3 seconds at 70 ° C. If all the parts and eggs of the chicken are cooked properly at 74 degree Celsius then this virus will die.

According to the authority, eggs should not be undercooked. When the chicken is cooking, do not eat it in the middle but cook it completely. Avoid direct contact of birds in infected areas. Do not touch dead birds with bare hands. Do not keep raw meat in empty space.

Avoid coming into direct contact with raw meat. Use masks and gloves when handling raw chicken. Keep washing your hands frequently. Keep nearby places clean. Eat only good and fully cooked chicken and eggs.

Take care in these things

The FSSAI has said that the virus present in the meat and eggs is cooked inactive. These products from the affected areas should not be eaten raw or undercooked. No such case has been reported so far, so that it is known that eating properly cooked meat and eggs spreads bird flu. Even if these products are coming from bird flu influenza affected areas to markets and kitchens, it still does not spread.

WHO’s advice

Regarding the use of meat and eggs, the World Health Organization (WHO) has also said that poultry meats and eggs are completely safe. According to the official website of WHO, no such data related to epidemiology is available to prove that the virus is spread in the human body by the use of properly cooked meat and eggs.
