ISRO recruitment 2019 is being conducted across various centres in the country, and the latest opening is available at VSSC for research vacancies
ISRO recruitment 2019 is being conducted yet again at one of its largest centres in India, the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC). After recently apprising of 327 vacancies as part of the ICRB recruitment, ISRO centre VSSC has invited applications for 35 research vacancies of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and Research Associates (RA). Selected candidates will be engaged on a temporary basis and would also be eligible for a salary of Rs 31,000 per month for JRF, and Rs 47,000 per month for RA.
Who can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2019 at VSSC?
As per the notification available on the official VSSC website, out of the 35 research positions 32 are for JRF for which candidates with ME or MTech degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Systems, VLSI, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Drives, Control System, Microelectronics, Signal Processing, Communication Systems, Control Systems, System Science & Automation, Control & Instrumentation and Control & Guidance, Optical Engineering, Structural , Mechanical, Machine Design Engineering, Chemical engineering and so on can apply. More details on the qualification has been provided on the notification.
Vacancies are also available for candidates with MSc Degree in Physics, Meteorology, Chemistry and Statistics. All degrees will have to be in first-class with over 65 percent aggregate marks. As far as the RA positions are concerned, candidates with PhD degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering can apply.

Candidates who are eligible for RA vacancies need to send applications in the prescribed format along with required documents to ao_rectt@vssc.gov.in. Candidates who are eligible and interested to apply for JRF posts may do so on the official VSSC website until 31 October 2019 at 5 PM IST. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to go through the notification in detail before applying for the posts.
