Top IT company Wipro is planning to recruit 10,000-12,000 freshers. The company has given this information in one of its reports. At the same time, Infosys has prepared to recruit 20,000 freshers in FY 2025-26. The company announced this recently.
During a press conference last Friday evening, Govil said that the company is re-evaluating its recruitment model to fit its employees correctly and improve margins amid declining layoff rates. Wipro’s recruitment plans have come to the fore after a period of slow recruitment and large number of layoffs in the IT sector.
Wipro Recruitment 2024-25
Wipro has set a target of hiring around 10,000 freshers in the current financial year. About 7,000 people have already been hired in the October-December (Q3) quarter and another 2,500-3,000 are expected to be hired in the last quarter of FY 25.
