Jagdeep’s real name was Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri. He was born on March 29, 1939 in Datia, Madhya Pradesh. He started his film career as Child Artist ‘Master Munna’. After this, he worked in ‘Laila Majnu’ as a child artist. By the time he grew up, he had managed to carve out an image of himself as a great comedian. He acted in Bimal Roy’s film Do Bigha Zameen. He acted in more than 400 films. In 2012, he was last seen in the role of a police constable in the movie ‘Gali Gali Chor’. Jagdeep was a happy person. There was only one fate of his life, come laughing and go laughing. Then, at the last moment, to say goodbye to him, his son son Javed Jaffrey tweeted this famous dialogue of his Surma Bhopali.
