New Delhi, Agencies. Due to the Corona epidemic, the historic rath yatra of Lord Jagannath is coming out this time like every year on Tuesday with strict conditions. The Supreme Court gave permission for the second hearing on the removal of the Rath Yatra. Rath Yatra is taking place amidst all the guidelines including social distancing. Preparations are in full swing for the Rath Yatra in Puri. At the same time, many leaders including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are greeting the countrymen on the occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra.
President Ramnath Kovind said, ‘Congratulations to all the countrymen, especially the devotees of Lord Jagannath in Odisha on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra. I wish that the grace of Lord Jagannath, grant us courage and determination to face Kovid-19 and infuse health and happiness into our lives. ‘
