JEE Main 2020 paper analysis of morning shift conducted on September 3, easy chemistry sections, balanced maths.

JEE Main day 3 exam analysis: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) started on September 01, 2020, and will continue until September 06, 2020. Here’s a look at subject wise paper analysis shared by different organisations.

Physics
25 Question (20 MCQ +5 Numerical value-based)

The overall paper was calculative and difficult to compare it to maths and chemistry. It was a calculation based and on slightly tricky. The integer type of questions was calculative as well as finally answer was the nearest integer.



Chemistry
25 Question (20 MCQ +5 Numerical value-based)

The Chemistry paper was the same as the last attempt and moderate. It was mostly theoretical and Organic chemistry portion was higher compared to Physical and inorganic. Numerical value-based questions were a little calculative due to the mixing of concepts and data-based.

Maths
25 Question (20 MCQ +5 Numerical value-based)

Maths paper was easy and balanced. Numerical value-based type questions in maths were easy.



Overall paper was quite balanced, moderate, and easily completed in the given timeline.

Easy as compared to January in all subjects



Physics:
All topics were covered specific topics like semiconductors EM waves communication system classical magnetism were covered.

Chemistry
Majorly from NCERT dominated by inorganic chemistry even questions from metallurgy and inorganic reactions were asked.

Mathematics
16-17 questions were easily doable, two questions from vector 3D,Coordinate geometry 5-6 questions ,Calculus 8-9 questions

All topics were covered across topics across subjects.
