New Delhi, Online Desk. JEE Main & NEET 2020: The Supreme Court has rejected the plea for postponement of the JEE Main 2020 entrance exam from September 1 and NEET 2020 examination on September 13. With the dismissal of the petition, the NTA will conduct the examinations as per the date fixed for both the examinations.

After initiating the submission of advocate Alakh, appearing for the students during the hearing in the Supreme Court, Judge Arun Mishra asked that if examinations are not held then it will not harm the country? There will be loss of academic session of students. Why exams cannot be conducted with caution? At the same time, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who is favoring the NTA, said that the examinations should be conducted with sufficient caution. Subsequently, advocate Alakh said that the Kovid-19 vaccine is likely to arrive soon, which Prime Minister Modi made in his speech on 15 August. He said that the examinations should not be postponed indefinitely but for some time.



The plea for adjournment of the JEE Main 2020 entrance exam from September 1 and Neet 2020 examination on September 13 was heard in the Supreme Court today. The hearing of the case was Judge Arun Mishra of the Supreme Court, Judge B.V. R. Gawai and Judge Krishna Murari were doing the bench. In the era of Kovid-19 epidemic, more than 20 lakh students are waiting for the decision to postpone the conduct of both entrance examinations.

Petition to postpone NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 entrance examinations

The petition filed for the conduct of NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 entrance examinations in the Supreme Court was to be heard today, August 17. This petition has demanded that the examinations should not be conducted among the Kovid-19 pandemic across the country and their scheduled dates should be postponed. Let us know that the JEE Main 2020 examination is to be conducted by the first week of next month i.e. September 1 to September 6 by the National Examination Agency (NTA), the body conducting both exams. At the same time, the agency has announced to conduct the NEET 2020 examination on 13 September. According to the information received, more than 20 lakh candidates have registered for both the examinations. According to the petition, the presence of such a large number of students in physical examinations is likely to increase the risk of epidemic infections.
