Jet Airways is planning to resume commercial flight operations in the next few months. It made its last flight on April 17, 2019. Last Thursday, it took a test flight at the Hyderabad airport.


New Delhi. The Ministry of Home Affairs has given security clearance to the airline Jet Airways. This airline is planning to resume commercial flight operations in the next few months. The Jalan-Kalrock consortium is currently the promoter of Jet Airways. Earlier this airline was owned by Naresh Goyal and he operated its last flight on April 17, 2019. Now it is expected that this airline will be able to start commercial flight soon.

The airline had last Thursday conducted its test flight from Hyderabad airport towards obtaining the Air Operator Certificate. The test flight was conducted to prove to aviation regulator DGCA that the aircraft and its components were operating normally. Now the airline will have to operate one more flight, after which the DGCA will provide the Air Operator Certificate.

Let us tell you that flying Doctorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA) officers and airline officers and cabin crew members as passengers is tantamount to commercial flying. In a letter sent by the Civil Aviation Ministry to the airline on May 6, it was informed about the security clearance given by the Union Home Ministry.

There was a debt of Rs 11,000 crore,
Jet Airways had a debt of Rs 11,000 crore, due to which there was a financial crisis in the company. The situation had become such that even the salary was not being given to the employees. After that Jet Airways flights were closed.
