Jewar Airport: Information has been given by Noida International Airport. An MoU has been signed by the airport with IndiGo for the flight.
Work on Jewar Airport being built in Noida is going on at a fast pace. According to the latest update, IndiGo will be the first airline to fly at Noida International Airport. The company’s flights may start by the end of 2024.
According to the report of news agency PTI, Noida International Airport (NIA) on Friday signed an agreement with the country’s largest airline Indigo, in which it has been agreed to start air services from the airport. Under this agreement, NIA and Indigo are working to strengthen connectivity in Uttar Pradesh and different states.
Second largest airport of Delhi NCR
Noida International Airport is the third commercial and second international airport of Delhi NCR. It is located in Jewar tehsil of Gautam Buddha Nagar district, which is located at a distance of about 75 kilometers from Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, IndiGo CEO Peter Albers said that the airline is thrilled to announce its partnership with NIA to become the launch carrier. Albers further said that as India’s leading airline, IndiGo has always been at the forefront in enhancing connectivity and giving wings to the country. Our operations at NIA will provide seamless connectivity to the people of Uttar Pradesh on our unique network.
