Jio AirFiber will be launched on September 19 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director (MD) Mukesh Ambani announced this on Monday while addressing the 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) through video conferencing. Jio Air Fiber will offer high speed internet service in India. Jio believes that with the help of Jio AirFiber, fast Wi-Fi service will reach every household in the country. With this, crores of users will get fast internet connectivity.
Ambani said that we are in a position to seamlessly move our 4G customers to 5G without additional capital expenditure. He said Jio has transformed from an implementer to a creator of cutting edge new technology. He said that Jio’s 5G rollout today is being powered by its own in-house 5G stack. Jio has over 50 million 5G customers.
