JIO and Airtel Tariff Hike: Users can still avoid increased prices. Here's how

JIO and Airtel Tariff Hike: Whether you are a Jio user or an Airtel user, you can buy the same recharge plan that you used to buy earlier and keep it in stock for up to a year today…

JIO and Airtel Tariff Hike: India’s two major telecom operators Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel announced tariff hike within a few hours of each other on 27 June. The new tariff plans by both the telecom companies are to be implemented from tomorrow i.e. July 3. In such a situation, today is the last day on which you can save up to Rs 600. Apart from this, through this news you will also know from where you can recharge and save even more money on your recharge…

Prices of popular plans increased so much

If you look carefully at the new recharge plans of Jio and Airtel, you will find that the prices of every recharge plan have been increased. For example, the recharge plan for which Jio users had to pay Rs 155 earlier, now they will have to pay Rs 189 for the same plan. On the other hand, Airtel users who used to pay Rs 299 for the recharge plan will now have to pay Rs 349 for the same plan from July 3.

You will have to pay this much money after tomorrow

Not only this, the company has also increased the annual recharge plan of Jio and Airtel. Jio and Airtel users who used to pay Rs 2,999 for the annual recharge plan will now have to pay Rs 3,599 from July 3. It is worth noting that Jio gives 2.5 GB daily data at the same rate, while Airtel gives 2 GB daily data. In this plan, users will have to pay about Rs 600 extra in a year.

Jio has made this plan disappear

Jio has also removed some plans. Like the Rs 395 plan in which 6 GB limited data and unlimited 5G data for 84 days was being offered. Let us tell you that this was a Jio value plan whose validity was 84 days. Jio has now discontinued this recharge plan. In such a situation, if you want that your pocket does not get affected by recharging from tomorrow i.e. July 3. Today is the last chance.

Buy and stock up on old recharge

Whether you are a Jio user or an Airtel user, you can buy the same recharge plan that you used to buy earlier and keep it in stock for one year today. Both the big telecom companies have announced that the users who buy their existing recharge by July 2 will be able to avail all the benefits at the old price. I would advise you to buy a recharge plan for a full year today i.e. July 2, or at least buy the old recharge plan and keep it in stock for 3 or 6 months.

Saving of Rs 600 in a year

If you buy Jio or Airtel’s annual plan by paying Rs 2,999 by July 2, then you will be benefited. Because for Rs 2,999 you will get free data, calling and SMS for a whole year. If you buy this annual plan after July 3, then you will have to pay Rs 3,599. In this situation, if you buy Jio or Airtel’s annual plan by paying Rs 2,999, then you will be able to save a total of Rs 600.
