Reliance Jio is now offering Amazon Prime membership to its Jio Fiber customers who are on select subscriptions.
Reliance Jio Friday announced the Jio Fiber Amazon Prime offer is rolling out to customers. The latest benefit from the company began showing up for users some days back but the company is addressing it officially now. Under the offer, select Jio Fiber customers will receive free Amazon Prime membership for one year. The annual price for the Amazon Prime membership is Rs 999, which the eligible Jio Fiber customers will not have to pay.
Amazon Prime membership will available on Gold, Diamond, Platinum, and Titanium plans of Jio Fiber, the company said. The membership encompasses benefits such as free one-day and two-day deliveries of over 400 million products to over 180 cities in India, Prime Video subscription for one year, Prime Music subscription for one year, Prime Reading subscription for one year, Prime Gaming subscription for one year, Prime Early Access for sales, and finally, 5 per cent rewards points on purchases made using Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card.
The Jio Fiber plans come in various tiers, namely, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum, and Titanium. The Amazon Prime membership will be applicable to the Gold tier and onwards. The Gold tier costs Rs 1,299 monthly for 1,750GB of 250Mbps data, the Diamond plan is priced at Rs 2,499 per month and provides customers with 4000GB of 500Mbps data, the Platinum tier costs Rs 3,999 per month for 7,500GB of 1Gbps data, and finally, the Titanium plan that offers 15,000GB of 1Gbps of data for a monthly price of Rs 8,499.

According to the previous report, the Amazon Prime membership is being offered free of cost to Jio Fiber customers who have subscribed to long-term plans, such as those valid for three months, six months, and one year. The monthly subscriptions are not likely to get Jio Fiber customers the benefit. Moreover, if a customer wants to avail the benefit, they need to ensure the registered number is used on Amazon. Additionally, if a customer is already subscribed to Amazon Prime, the offer will not work unless the existing membership ends.
Reliance Jio recently rolled out the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for free on select prepaid plans. The prepaid plans worth Rs 401 brings 3GB daily data for 90 days along with the free membership. The benefit is also applicable to the yearly plan of Rs 2,599. The benefit is also available on the add-on vouchers starting for Rs 612.
