Kanpur Encounter: UP ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said – a big mistake by the police

Eight policemen were killed in a clash between police and miscreants in Kanpur countryside of Uttar Pradesh. Reacting to this entire incident, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that there was a big lapse from the police team.

Kanpur.  Eight policemen have been martyred in the attack on the police team that went to capture the vicious criminal Vikas Dubey in Kanpur. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar, who reached the spot after the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has given a big statement. They have considered this incident as the lapse of the police. Prashant Kumar, who reached Kanpur countryside from Lucknow, said that there was a big lapse on behalf of the police in this case. Prashant Kumar will give his report to CM Yogi. The ADG said that a thorough investigation has been started into the matter of who became or was informed by the Kanpur police.

 



After this statement of the ADG, one thing has also come out that the police did not know that the criminal Vikas Dubey could also do such an attack. He had sophisticated weapons like AK-47. Was the police team ready for this?

 

He said that this matter will also be investigated. Killer development is being searched. The ADG said that raids are being conducted at various places in Kanpur. Also, he told that one of Vikas Dubey’s partner is in custody. All the borders are sealed and vehicles are being checked.

In Bikeru village of Choubepur, the police team that went to capture historyheater Vikas Dubey was attacked at midnight on Thursday. Bullets were fired on the police from the roof of the houses, in which three sub-inspectors and four soldiers including CO Bilhore Devendra Mishra were killed. Apart from this, seven policemen have been injured in this attack, who have been admitted to Regency Hospital in Kanpur Nagar. The condition of one policeman among the injured remains critical. Police officers including ADG Jaynarayan Singh, IG Mohit Aggarwal, SSSP Dinesh Kumar P have also reached the spot. A police force has been deployed in the village and a search operation is being conducted in search of the attackers.

 

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has mourned the martyrdom of 8 policemen in Kanpur. He directed the DGP of UP to take strict action in the case and sought a report of the case.
