Kanya Sumangala Yojana UP 2021

Uttar Pradesh Kanya Sumangala Yojana was started by the Uttar Pradesh government for the daughters of economically weaker families. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided by the government from the birth of daughters till their graduation. Under this scheme, 2 thousand rupees at the time of daughter’s birth, 1 thousand rupees after completing one year’s vaccination, 2 thousand rupees at the time of admission in first class, 2 thousand rupees at the time of 6th class and at the time of admission in ninth class. 3 thousand rupees are given. 5 thousand rupees are given after passing the 10th and 12th class exams or enrolling in a two-year diploma course.

This scheme has been linked with the education and health of girls, so that their future will be better. The government has allocated a budget of Rs 1200 crore for this scheme. The annual income of the family under this scheme should be maximum three lakhs or less. Maximum two girls of a family will get the benefits of this scheme.

Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, money is deposited in the account of the beneficiaries through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT).

Eligibility for UP Kanya Sumangala Yojana

To take benefit under the Uttar Pradesh Kanya Sumangala Yojana , it will be mandatory for the applicant to fulfill all the criteria which are given below:

• To take advantage of this scheme, the annual income of the girl’s family should be 3 lakhs or less.
• Applicant should be a native of Uttar Pradesh.
• The applicant should have a permanent residence certificate, in which the ration card / Aadhar card / voter ID card / electricity / telephone bill will be valid.
• Only two daughters of the applicant will be able to get the benefit of the scheme, so there should be maximum two children in the beneficiary’s family.
• If a woman has twins from the second delivery, the benefit will also be admissible to the girl child as the third child. If a woman has a girl child from the first delivery and there are only two twin girls from the second delivery, then only in such a situation the benefit will be admissible to all the three girls.
• If a family has adopted an orphan girl child, then maximum two girls including biological children and legally adopted children of the family will be the beneficiaries of this scheme.
• If the applicant is the father/mother, the first priority for the bank details should be that of the mother but if she is not, then it will be the father’s bank account.
• If both the mother and father are not alive and the applicant is the guardian then the bank details of the guardian should be required.
• If the girl child is an adult then she can apply for the benefit herself and her bank details are required.

Step 1:  Firstly the applicant has to visit the official website of Kanya Sumangala Yojana ( http://mksy.up.gov.in/ ).

Step 2: On the home page of the website, you have to click on the option “ Citizen Services Portal >> Apply Here”.

Step 3:  After this a new page will open in front of you, if you are a new user then tick “I Agree” and click on continue.

Step 4: After this, a registration form will open in front of you, in which all the information asked carefully like name, address, mobile number, parent’s aadhaar number etc. will have to be verified by entering OTP.

Step 5: After this, after the registration, you will get the User ID.

Step 6: Now you have to login to MKSY Portal with the help of User ID .

Step 7: After login, the asked information and documents will have to be uploaded and after that your application will be completed.

Step 1: First of all applicants download the application form from the link given below.

Step 2: After receiving the application form, you have to fill all the information asked in the form.

Step 3: After filling all the information, you have to attach all your necessary documents with the application form along with the application form.

Step 4: After this you have to submit your application form to the office of Block Development Officer (Development Block Officer), SDM, Probation Officer, Deputy Chief Probation Officer etc.

Step 5: Thereafter the filled applications will be forwarded to the District Probation Officer (DPO) by the concerned officer.

Step 6: The DPO will feed all the information online and further processing of these offline applications will be done in online mode.
