Labor Code: There may be an increase in the benefits available to government employees from July 1
Labor Code: The Modi government plans to implement the rules of labor code as soon as possible. However, it may take at least three months to implement the rules of the four Labor Codes as not all states have framed the rules. According to officials, it may take till the month of June to implement all the four labor code rules. That is, from the month of July, government employees can get great news of Earned Leaves. If the Modi government implements the rules of the Labor Code, then the Earned Leave of the employees can increase from 300 to 450.
Know what is Earned Leave – for which you get salary
At present, government employees get 30 Earned Leave in a year. In defense, this leave is of 60 days. When you do not take the fixed leave given by the government for the whole year, then it gets added to the next year ie carry forward. The same earned holidays can do up to 300. However, this leave is available between 240 to 300 according to different departments. At the time of retirement, employees get basic salary in lieu of earned leave. Many labor unions are demanding to increase these holidays to 450. However, no decision has been taken on this yet. In lieu of these holidays, employees can take salary after 20 years of service or service.

Regarding the change in the rules of the Labor Code, there was a discussion between the representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Labor Union and Industry regarding working hours, annual holidays, pension, PF, take home salary, retirement etc., in which the earned leave of employees was increased from 300 to 450 lives have been demanded.
23 states made rules
With the implementation of the four Labor Code rules, investment will be encouraged in the country and employment opportunities will increase. Labor law is an important part of the country’s constitution. So far 23 states have made rules for labor code rules. Now according to the new rules of the Labor Code, only seven states have not been able to make rules. It may take another three months. According to media reports, the rules of the Labor Code may come into force from July 1.

29 Central Labor Laws in India are divided into 4 codes. The rules of the code include 4 labor codes like wages, social security, industrial relations and occupation safety and health and working conditions etc. So far 23 states have prepared these draft laws. These four codes have been passed by the Parliament, but apart from the center, the state governments are also required to notify these codes, rules.
