LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana has become a super hit! Women get Rs 7000 per month, know details

LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: LIC’s Bima Sakhi Yojana has created a buzz in just one month. It was launched last month. More than 50 thousand registrations have been done in it in a month. At the same time, many women have also started selling policies. Under this scheme, 10th pass women get up to 7 thousand rupees per month.

Women are liking LIC’s Bima Sakhi Yojana very much. So far 50 thousand women have registered in it. This is when only one month has passed since the scheme was started. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this scheme from Panipat on 9 December. In this scheme, 10th pass women get salary and commission of up to 7 thousand rupees every month. This scheme of LIC was launched under the initiative of Developed India through Women Empowerment. On Wednesday, LIC said that since the launch of this scheme, 52511 registrations have been done in a month. Out of these, 27695 Bima Sakhis have been issued appointment letters to sell policies. 14583 Bima Sakhis have started selling policies.

What is this scheme?

Under this scheme, women are given training to become LIC agents. During this period, 7 thousand to 5 thousand rupees are also given every month. Along with this, commission is also given for getting the policy.

Under the scheme, a stipend of 7 thousand rupees per month is given in the first year, 6 thousand rupees per month in the second year and 5 thousand rupees per month in the third year. In this way, a total amount of Rs 2,16,000 will be given in three years. In this scheme, you have to complete some specific targets every year.

Who can apply?

Any 10th pass woman between 18 years to 70 years can apply in this scheme. To apply, you can go to your nearest branch and get information. You can also apply by visiting the official website. Click here to apply online.

Which documents are required?

Many documents are required to apply for this scheme. Two latest passport size photos, age proof, address proof and self attested copy of 10th pass certificate have to be attached as documents. Also, bank account details have to be submitted.

This is not a government job

Under this scheme, women are not given government jobs. Rather, they are given training to become LIC agents. That is, one has to work as an LIC agent.
