The aim of LIC is to give rural women an opportunity to become insurance agents. So that the women of the village can become strong at the economic level. Features of Bima Sakhi Yojana
This scheme will work to make women financially strong along with giving them permanent income. PM Modi has launched it in Haryana on 9 December.
How much salary will women get
In the first year, women will get a monthly salary of Rs 7,000. In the second year, Rs 6,000 will be given monthly and in the third year, Rs 5,000 will be given monthly. Commission will also be given to women on selling LIC. However, this commission will be given on selling target LIC. Right now it has been started in Haryana. After this it will be implemented all over the country.
Which women can apply
Only women aged 18 to 50 years, who have passed at least 10th class, can apply under this scheme. Under the scheme, priority will be given to women from rural areas.
