LIC Jeevan Akshay According to a release issued by LIC, LIC of India has revised the annuity rates. Changes have been made to LIC’s Jeevan Akshay VII (Plan 857) and LIC’s new Jeevan Shanti (Plan 858) with effect from 1 February 2022.


New Delhi, Business Desk. Life Insurance Corporation of India ( LIC ) has increased the annuity rates of its Jeevan Akshay VII and new Jeevan Shanti policies with effect from February 1, 2022 . According to a release issued by LIC, LIC of India has revised the annuity rates. Changes have been made to LIC’s Jeevan Akshay VII (Plan 857) and LIC’s new Jeevan Shanti (Plan 858) with effect from 1 February 2022. Now policyholders will get more amount.

The revised versions of these plans with revised annuity rates are available for sale from February 1, 2022. The annuity amount under both the annuity options of New Jeevan Shanti can be calculated using the calculator through LIC website as well as through various LIC apps.

How to take policy

According to the LIC website, the plans are available both online and offline. This policy can be purchased online by visiting the LIC India website, while for offline plans, customers can visit the branch channel. LIC’s Jeevan Akshay VII (Plan No. 857) is now available through a new distribution channel called Common Public Service Centre.

Under Jeevan Akshay III plan, if the proposer has a disabled dependent, the plan can be purchased as a nominated/secondary annuity for the benefit of the disabled, subject to a minimum purchase price of Rs.50,000.

According to Brand Finance, a London-based brand consulting firm, the market valuation of LIC is estimated to be Rs 43.40 lakh crore, or $59.21 billion, by 2022 and Rs 59.9 lakh crore ($78.63 billion) by 2027.
