There is not much time left for the country’s biggest IPO LIC to come. In such a situation, if you want to earn from this, then for this you should have two things. Let’s tell.
New Delhi. LIC IPO: Policyholders are waiting the most for the country’s largest IPO LIC. It is reported that LIC may file a draft of documents for the IPO with the market regulator SEBI next week. After the approval of SEBI, the company’s IPO is expected to come in March. But LIC policyholders have a tremendous opportunity to earn from IPO, although for this you should have two things – one is the PAN linked to your LIC policy account and the other is the demat account.
PAN number has to be updated
According to the proposed issue plan of LIC, up to 10 percent of the IPO issue size will be reserved for policyholders. Policyholders must ensure that their PAN details are updated in the LIC records. At the same time, it is also necessary to have a valid demat account to participate in the IPO. KYC is necessary for bidding in IPO. This is the reason why PAN number has to be updated. Policy holders should check whether the PAN information given in the record is correct or not. If it is not correct, then update the PAN information.
Demat account is necessary
If a policy holder does not currently have a Demat Account, then he should plan to open it at his own expense. The corporation clearly stated that the policyholder will bear the cost of opening a demat account and updating PAN. The Corporation will not bear any expenses.
