This means that once you deposit money, you can take advantage of it throughout your life. But now this policy is going to be closed. Yes, LIC’s wealth growth policy will be closed on 30th September.
LIC’s Dhan Vriddhi policy is a single premium insurance plan. This is a non-linked, non-participating, individual savings, single premium life plan, which provides the benefit of both life protection and savings to the investor. Apart from this, investors can exit the plan anytime or can also avail the benefit of tax deduction under 80C along with taking loan on this scheme.

LIC has posted on its social media platform You have only about 5 days left for investment. Wealth growth is a combination of security and savings. Dhan Vriddhi Plan provides financial help to the family in the event of the unfortunate death of the insured during the policy tenure. It also gives a lump sum amount to the insured person along with a guarantee on maturity. There are two options to choose this plan, in which the sum assured on death can be either 1.25 times or 10 times in the second option.
These are its benefits
- LIC Dhan Vriddhi Plan is for 10, 15 and 18 years and the age of the subscriber should be at least 90 days to 8 years to invest.
- Investors of this plan can surrender it anytime and can also avail tax exemption of up to Rs 1.5 lakh under 80C.
- LIC Dhan Vriddhi Plan offers a minimum guaranteed return of Rs 1,25,000.
- Dhan Vriddhi Plan: In the first option, Rs 60 to Rs 75 are guaranteed and in the second option, an additional guarantee of Rs 25 to Rs 40 is available for every Rs 1,000 of basic sum assured.
- Under the Dhan Vriddhi plan, there is also the option of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual settlement for five years on maturity or death.
- Investors of LIC Dhan Vriddhi Plan can also take a loan after completion of 3 months of the policy.
