Life Certificate: All pensioners in the country have to submit their life certificate (Jeevan Pramaan Patra) or life certificate (Jeevan Pramaan Patra) every year in the month of November.
Whereas for super senior pensioners i.e. pensioners aged 80 years and above, this process has started from October 1. Life certificate is submitted every year to ensure that the pensioner is alive. If you are also going to submit your life certificate then this news is very important for you. In today’s time, it has become easy to do any work through digital or online means. But even a little carelessness in this can cause huge harm. Meanwhile, pensioners are also being defrauded.
Pensioners are being cheated
In the recent past, many fake websites have come to light which are cheating pensioners by claiming to give them life certificates in exchange for registration fees. That means fraudsters are cheating by creating fake websites and giving life certificate. Some time ago, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had also warned pensioners in this matter.
What should pensioners do?
Fraudsters are creating websites with URLs similar to government websites and claiming to provide life certificates to pensioners. Instead, they are collecting registration charges from pensioners. Therefore, pensioners should not fall into such traps and should use only the correct certified website.
It is known that Jeevan Pramaan is an important enabled digital service for pensioners. More than one crore families in India can be kept as pensioner families. There are about 50 lakh pensioners of the central government. The same number is from state and union territory governments and other government agencies.
