Door step banking
Nowadays, many banks have brought the facility of submitting life certificate through door step banking for the convenience of the customers. For this you visit the bank’s mobile app or website. Apart from this, booking of door step banking can also be done through the toll free number of the bank. After this, the bank official comes home and collects the life certificate from the pensioner. Keep in mind that many banks provide this facility to senior citizens for free. At the same time, many banks charge fees from customers in return.
Jeevan Pramaan Portal
Pensioners can submit their life certificate through Jeevan Pramaan portal only online sitting at home. For this they will need only UIDAI identity card. By verifying the biometrics, he can easily submit the proof of his existence on this portal.
Submit life certificate through postman
India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) is providing its customers the facility to verify life certificate through Postman. This facility was started in the year 2020. This is also a door step banking facility, in which the postman comes to the pensioner’s home and deposits his life certificate.
Submit life certificate through Umang app
You can also submit life certificate sitting at home through Umang app. For this you do not need to go to EPFO office. To submit life certificate through Umang app, you must have 12 digit Aadhaar number and registered mobile number.
Submit life certificate through face authentication
Department of Pensioners Welfare (DoPPW) is providing the facility to submit life certificate through face authentication. For this you just have to go to Google Play Store and give ‘Aadhaar Face RD Application’. After this, with the help of this app you can submit your life certificate.
Submit life certificate through PDAs
The pensioner can submit his life certificate himself by going to the pension disbursing authority i.e. post office or bank. You fill up a form and submit it to the bank. After this the bank officials will submit the life certificate.
