What is Life Certificate?

Life Certificate is a document which is proof of pensioners being alive. Pensioners have to submit this to their pension distributing agency. Apart from this, one has to go to the bank from which pension is being received and submit the life certificate. Now pensioners can take advantage of services like Digital Life Certificate.

Last date for submission of Life Certificate – 30 November 2024

It is mandatory for every pensioner to submit his life certificate every year from 1 to 30 November. Only after submitting the certificate on time, the pension comes regularly in the account every month.

Ways to submit Life Certificate

1. Submit in person – Pensioners can submit the life certificate themselves by going to these places.

– Pension paying bank

– Post office

– Government recognized service center

– District-level treasury office

2. Doorstep banking service

Pensioners who are worried due to health can submit life certificate even without going to the bank. They can take advantage of doorstep service.

To avail doorstep service, you will have to do this

The representative will collect biometric data and submit your certificate.

3. Digital Jeevan Pramaan

Digital Jeevan Pramaan has made the process very simple.

How to submit:

    • CSC Center: You can submit the certificate by visiting the nearest Citizen Service Center (CSC).
  • Jeevan Pramaan Portal: Log in to the portal and generate a life certificate using a fingerprint reader.
  • Jeevan Pramaan Mobile App: Download the app and submit the certificate online.
  • Post Office Service: Submit the certificate with the help of a postman through India Post Payments Bank.
  • Face Authentication: Use Aadhaar Face RD App and Jeevan Pramaan App.
