Pensioners can take advantage of the door step service of government banks and postal services and submit their life certificates sitting at home.



Life Certificate- Pensioners had to submit their Life Certificate (Life Certificate) every year to the bank, post office or financial institution to continue the pension. Whereas, pensioners above the age of 80 years can submit their certificate from the month of October itself.

Pensioners can submit their life certificate using the doorstep banking service of 12 public sector banks. These banks include many banks including State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Indian Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India. Apart from this, pension holders can also book service by calling on mobile, website or toll free number. In this, the doorstep banking app has to be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Then by visiting the website doorstepbanks.com, you can also call the toll free number.


Through Life Certificate Portal

You can also download your life certificate through this portal https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/. For this, you have to download the most Jeevan Pramaan app. For this, it is necessary for the pensioners to have Aadhaar number, existing mobile number, type of pension, PPO number. After which, you can submit the Life Certificate sitting at home by following the steps mentioned in the app.

Can be submitted through postman

In fact, in November 2020 itself, the Department of Posts, in association with the Ministry of Electronics and IT, started the service of submission of Life Certificate with the help of postman. This facility is available for India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and non-IPPB customers.
