Punjab National Bank has told that you can submit life certificate for free through its doorstep banking service. This free facility will be available from October 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023.
New Delhi. There is important news for crores of pensioners across the country. The month of October has come to an end and the month of November is about to begin. In such a situation, crores of pensioners across the country have to submit their annual life certificate i.e. Jeevan Pramaan Patra this month. However, there is a relief to the pensioner of the Employee Pension Scheme (EPScheme) that he can submit his life certificate anytime within a year.
You submit the Life Certificate in several ways. You can submit the Life Certificate by visiting the Treasury, Bank Branch, Common Service Center and Post Office. Pensioners can submit digital life certificate through doorstep banking service of 12 banks including state-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB). Many banks have to pay a fee for door step service.

Life certificate will be made online
Let us tell you that pensioners do not need to go themselves to get their life certificate made. The Life Certificate itself can also be generated online. You can generate life certificate digitally from the Central Government Life Certificate Portal https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/. Digital certificate can be generated through Aadhaar based authentication.
