Now pensioners can submit their Life Certificate (Jeevan Praman Patra) through video call from their mobile. Pensioners whose pension comes in SBI bank account will not need to visit the bank branch to submit the life certificate.
According to the information given by the bank on Twitter a few days ago, any pensioner will be able to submit his life certificate from November 1 through video tomorrow. The process of submission of life certificate has started from 1st October 2021 and will continue till 30th November. That is, pensioners have only time till November 30.
Submit life certificate through video call
- First of all you have to go to https://www.pensionseva.sbi/ .
- After this you have to click on Video LC.
- Then you have to enter SBI Pension Account Number.
- After this an OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
- Read all the terms and conditions carefully and then click on Start Journey.
- After this, keep your PAN card with you and click on I am Ready.
- After that start the video call.
- The video call will start when your SBI officer is available. Apart from this, you can also choose the time according to your convenience.
- When the video call starts, the officer will ask you to read the 4 digit number on your screen.
- You will have to show the PAN card whose photo will be taken by the officer.
- After this your photo will be taken and the process will be completed.
- After this a picture of you will also be taken. After which your process will be completed.
- If your process is not correct then you will be informed through video call. In such a situation, you will have to go to the bank branch and submit the life certificate.
