Noida District Magistrate Suhas LY has directed the officials to keep the liquor shops on the way of Kanwar Yatra closed from July 14 to 26, in view of the religious Kanwar Yatra to be held in Sawan.
New Delhi. There is big news for the liquor connoisseurs living in Noida, a city coming in the NCR area adjacent to the capital Delhi. The thing is, liquor shops will remain closed in Noida for almost two weeks. In fact, the Noida administration has ordered the closure of liquor shops from July 14 to 26.
Two weeks dry day in Noida
In fact, in view of the religious Kanwar Yatra to be held in Sawan, Noida District Magistrate Suhas LY has directed the officials to keep the liquor shops coming on the way of Kanwar Yatra closed from July 14 to 26. Along with liquor shops, meat shops coming on the way of Kanwar Yatra have also been instructed to remain closed during this period. Let us inform that, the Kanwar Yatra is being finalized in Noida, after which it will also be inspected by the police.
Administration tightens its waist for Kanwar Yatra
In fact, Noida officials have held a meeting to review the preparations for the Kanwar Yatra. After this, it will also be decided to conduct investigations in different parts of the district to keep an eye on any mischief attempt during festivals. During this, instructions have also been issued by the District Magistrate that citizens should not face any kind of problem during checking.
After the meeting, the DM said, “During the meeting held with the police officers and other department heads, they have been asked to prepare a detailed plan to ensure hassle-free Kanwar Yatra in the district.” After the routes are finalised, the officials will visit the areas and identify the liquor and meat shops to be kept closed during the journey.
